Talking about the nature of their brand, we realized that it revolves around customer-centricity.
Their core philosophy is to prioritize customer satisfaction by offering a wide range of premium-quality ice cream flavors in amazing combinations while maintaining a focus on using healthy ingredients.
Competitor Analysis
An in-depth analysis of the local competitors for both B2B and B2C was conducted. Also, a positioning strategy was aligned.
Outcome
We continued the process with the creation of a premium-looking brand image that reflects a high-quality product and puts the customer at the center. One that could be flexible enough to be used in applications for both B2B and B2C while retaining that premium feel.
Visual Identity
The visual identity is designed to convey a premium look and feel by using an elegant combination mark.
The mark is composed of a simple ice-cream cup symbol, together with an elegant font combination featuring a main serif font that evoques a royal look, together with a secondary sans-serif elegant font.
In order to make sure that the brand will function well in real-life applications, we tested it on several mockups and in print.
Launch Campaign
The target was to make the brand visible in the community and also to send leads to the partner delivery apps where the product could be bought online.
Christmas Campaign
Finesse wanted to engage as much as possible with their community before opening their first physical location, and they decided to test new products during Christmas.
This was implemented through a campaign on social media promoting their products and having a giveaway.
The campaign ran on social media before Christmas, and it received a lot of positive reactions.
During Christmas, it was the perfect opportunity to extend the product range, gather feedback, and adjust the offer.
Brand awareness for Finesse increased significantly in the local market as a result of the campaigns.
Menu Design
Before opening the physical location, Finesse had leveraged the potential of reaching their customers and increasing brand awareness through their B2B partners. We prepared discount vouchers and a menu design to be available in the partner locations.
Packaging Design
Defining packaging was really a challenge. We selected options to pack ice cream for delivery and also ensure a premium look and feel.
After exploring several packaging ideas, including smaller and larger containers made from different materials, we ended up selecting two styrofoam containers (for small and large quantities) that ensured a safe temperature for the time of transport.
We designed a sleeve to cover the large container and convey that premium look, printed on a 400gsm cardboard with a mat finish.
